Jeff Nyweide is the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for GlobalOptions Group, a publicly-traded international risk management and business solutions company. Jeff has been a successful high-tech entrepreneur and executive for the past 20 years. His work focuses on promising small and medium-size companies, helping them through early stage development and the transitions required for high growth and returns. He co-founded two U.S.-based technology companies, including Dataware Technologies Inc., a software and services company, which he co-founded in 1987, and Northern Light Technology in 1995. At Dataware, Jeff served as Director, President and Chief Operating Officer and was actively involved in its management and success as a public company after its 1993 IPO. Jeff has significant experience in M&A, finance, and operations while establishing international business in Europe and Asia. In the 1980s, he was a founder and managing director of Quantum Management in Greenwich, CT and Munich, Germany. In this role he worked with European and American investment banks and corporations developing M&A strategies and strategic alliances. From 1978 to 1986 he was a sales, marketing and operating executive with The Service Bureau Company, a subsidiary of Control Data Corporation. He holds a degree in Economics from Northwestern University.
