Try an Electronic Silencer" The Babble, a device used to multiply and scramble voices, will be introduced in June by Sonare Technologies, a new subsidiary of Herman Miller. 03/16/05 "RADVISION Completes Purchase of Substantially All Assets of First Virtual Communications, Inc." RADVISION (NASDAQ: RVSN) reported that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of substantially all of the operating assets, intellectual property and customer contracts of First Virtual Communications, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary CUseeMe Networks, Inc. The closing followed approval of the transaction by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. FVC filed for protection under Chapter 11 on January 20, 2005.
02/18/05 "First Virtual Communications, Inc. Receives $5.2 Million Stalking Horse Bid Led by Millennium Technology Value Partners" At a hearing on February 14, 2005, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California granted First Virtual Communications, Inc. the following relief: final approval of the procedures and timing for interested parties to submit competing proposals in connection with the Company's restructuring efforts based on an improved "stalking horse" bid of approximately $5.2 million for the company from Millennium Technology Value Partners, L.P. and First Virtual's secured lenders, and final approval for a $2 million debtor-in-possession credit facility to stabilize business during Chapter 11 reorganization.
01/28/05 "First Virtual Communications, Inc. Announces Interim Approval of $2 Million Debtor-in-Possession Financing Credit Facility Led by Millennium Technology Value Partners" In connection with its chapter 11 reorganization, filed on January 20, 2005, First Virtual Communications, Inc. (Pink Sheets: FVCCQ.PK) announced that it obtained interim approval from the Bankruptcy Court of a $2 million debtor-in-possession financing credit facility from an investment partnership led by Millennium Technology Value Partners, L.P., a New York-based private equity fund. The company expects to utilize the funds to stabilize its operations, renew its commitment to customers, vendors and employees, and to enhance its ability to restructure its financial affairs by allowing for a robust competition for interested parties to submit proposals to restructure the company. The company expects to to obtain final approval of this financing at a hearing scheduled for February 14, 2005.
